The couple met in a bookstore in China while Huan was on a blind date. The date obviously did not go well, because Wynand, a child of the Sundays River Valley, asked her to marry him, and he brought her back to Africa to share the special day with friends and family from across the globe. For Wynand it was a homecoming, as they were residents in the homestead that had to be demolished and of which the salvaged materials later became Shamrock Chapel. They partied till late into the night.
For us it was also a special event, as it was exactly one year since the opening of Belle Vue Function Hall.
